Amber Alert issued for Harrisonburg tot cancelled
HARRISONBURG, Va.
Authorities cancelled an Amber Alert Saturday for a 1-year-old Harrisonburg boy they believed to be the victim of parental abduction, according to www.vaamberalert.com .
The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued the alert on Friday for Charles Dillon III.
The child was found safe Friday night from the result of tips, according to www.examiner.com .
Harrisonburg police said they believed 23-year-old Sarah Dillon took her son. Police spokeswoman Mary-Hope Vass said Sarah Dillon, who does not have custody, was having supervised visitation with the child Friday morning.
The Daily News Record reports that an unknown male was seen with the woman around the time the child disappeared.
