Yesterday's wedding in Monaco was the best red carpet event ever. The rich and famous came to watch Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert II marry.

Three major fashion designers were in attendance including Armani, Lagerfeld and Cavalli . Lagerfeld designed Charlene's outfit for the civil ceremony, while Armani designed the wedding dress for the religious ceremony.  My top three fashion favorites were Charlotte Casiraghi who is Princess Caroline's daughter, supermodel Karolina Kurkova and supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Two of the three were in Chanel . Charlotte wore a soft pink design from the Chanel 2011 Spring collection. It featured an off the shoulder neckline, covered buttons and a triple tiered skirt. A black satin bow peeked out at the waist. She added YSL sandals and a lovely netted black hat.

Karolina Kurkova wore a design that was classic Chanel with a twist. The blue silk suit design was from Fall 2009. It featured a peplum and a suprising embellished train. She added blue pumps and a small blue hair design.

Naomi Campbell is the new face of Givenchy fall 2011. She selected a mint colored one shoulder gown done in warm colors of golden peach embroidery from Givenchy. She carried a McQueen bag and wore a floral peach fascinator.

A shout-out goes to Armani's niece Roberta, who looked stunning in a brown Armani design. It was a strapless brown sheath with a shoulder cover that was angled. She added a lovely sculpted hat. She caught my eye immediately, but it wasn't clear who she was. Just lovely and unique.

The one who wins the award for an inappropriate and overly garish design is Eva Cavalli, who is the wife of designer Roberto Cavalli. While she looked like a billboard for the designer, the outfit had a pimped-out style. The design which was in dark blue silk, featured drop waisted wide pants and matching blouse. She added gigantic hoop earrings and a 1970's style floppy hat also in blue. While this might have been ok for the evening events, it was over-the-top for the religious event.

There were so many beautiful styles it was tough to pick just a few. Overall the style was fabulous and really the best money could buy.
