Scanner not working - Canon 9900F - Tech Support Forum
I run a 9900F scanner on either a Vista desktop or XP laptop. It has jst deceided to not work. If I start Paint shop Pro and try to import TWAIN I get "Cable meybe disconnected" & "scanner not found" error messages. If I start it from CanoScan Toolbox I also get "Unable to open TWAIN message". I have tried uninstalling the various bits of scanner software on both machines, downloaded new copies from the Canon web site and installed them (and of course removed and inserted all plugs).
