On questioning he also admitted to pain in his left loin and was noted to be restless and unable to find comfort in any position. He was seen to stand, pace, recline, and move continuously in an attempt to 'shake off' the discomfort. On investigation his blood pressure was raised, he was afebrile and had microscopic hematuria.
