Milton man reports truck stolen from residence, valued at $20500
The following information was provided by the Cabell County Sheriff's Office:
A 36-year-old man reported his Chevrolet Silverado stolen from the driveway of his residence in the 9200 block of Barkers Ridge Road in Milton. The incident occurred between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 10 and 6:50 a.m. Aug. 11. The victim said he left a spare key in the center console of the vehicle. The truck was valued at $20,500.
BURGLARY: A 36-year-old man from Lesage told police an unknown person kicked open the front door of his residence, and two firearms valued at a combined $450 were stolen. It happened sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 6200 block of Ohio River Road in Lesage.
SHOPLIFTING: The manager at Billy Bob's Wonderland, 5 Cracker Barrel Drive, Barboursville, reported that someone stole a stuffed ape and gorilla from the establishment at approximately 3 p.m. Sunday. The toys were valued at $300.
LARCENY: A 27-year-old man reported that two rings and a gaming system were stolen from his residence in the 2100 block of Walton Road in Culloden. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. July 25 and 6 p.m. Aug. 1. Items were valued at $1,950.
The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:
A 38-year-old man reported that his residence in the 3000 block of 5th Avenue was burglarized and the following items stolen: two gaming systems, two televisions and a pair of Nike tennis shoes. The incident occurred between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 10 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 11. Items were valued at $2,130. Damage to the window used to gain entry into the residence was estimated at $200.
LARCENY: A 26-year-old man reported that a gaming system was stolen from his residence in the 400 block of Bridge Street between 6:50 a.m. and noon Monday. The system was valued at $300.
LARCENY: A 60-year-old man reported that the bed liner and tailgate were stolen from his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado at approximately 9 p.m. Monday. The incident occurred in the 400 block of West 18th Street. Items were valued at $700.
LARCENY: An employee at Bosley Rental and Supply, 1560 Washington Ave., reported that a piece of equipment that had been rented was recently pawned at a shop in Ashland. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 22. The item was estimated to be worth $800 to $1,000.
LARCENY: A 77-year-old man reported that a ring, necklace and cash were stolen from him while in the 600 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard. The incident occurred between July 20 and Aug. 11. Items were estimated at $660.
