NIH Grant Funds Installation of Clinical Quality Management System ...
Ann Arbor, MI - July 25, 2007 - Healthcare information technology (IT) company Cielo MedSolutions announces its clinical quality management system, Cielo Clinic™, will be installed in Care Free Medical & Dental's Lansing and Mason clinics.
Cielo Clinic screenshotCare Free Medical & Dental will use the Cielo Clinic system for quality improvement via clinical reminders the system provides. The clinics will also use the medical software system for an observational study of depression symptoms in patients with coronary heart disease.
Cielo MedSolutions will donate the Cielo Clinic software system to Care Free Medical. A National Institutes of Health (NIH) Roadmap grant will cover installation and training costs of the Cielo Clinic system under the "Re-engineering the Clinical Research Enterprise" initiative. The NIH awarded the grant to a collaborative effort between the University of Michigan's Center for the Advancement of Clinical Research (CACR) and GRIN - the Great Lakes Research Into Practice Network.
